Danny Sullivan, Google’s public search liaison, tweeted about a new user agnet that is used by Google to fetch information for its Google Go App. This tweet was a reply to Barry Schwartz’s question about a newly identified useragent called google-speakr.
Google use this special spider to fetch up-to-date information from websites before using it via the read aloud technology.
google-speakr is not documented yet but Sullivan promised it will be soon added to the documentation.
