Finally Mozilla is updating it’s Firefox Add-ons page according to read/write. If you didin’t know Firefox has add-ons or extensions and themes that enhance the browser. I myself use a couple. But that website has been the same for a while now and it became boring with nothing new.
The Mozilla Firefox add-ons page upgrades have three main focuses:
1. Localization - Finally now you can get region specific Firefox extensions. But don’t get too exited yet there is8 communities planned but more are “on the way”.
2. They are improving their search and categorization. Finally I mean it’s embarrassing when you a category called “web annoyances”.
3. Review and select your favorite extensions to help other users know which to trust and which to avoid.
Thsi is all due to an increase in suer demand for widgets and other small web utilities. With the rise of socially powered websites more an dmore people want to have their own way to adjust or change the otherwise normal things.
Thank you

Firefox, my favorite browser, has yet another update. It wasn’t too long ago that version 2.0 came out now 2.0.0.1 is out. Minor it seems though it fixed a couple of bugs out there that were associated with 2.0. But this version also has a new feature.
Firefox now fully supports Windows Vista. With the new release of this windows candidate I guess it was on top of their list to get a compatible version.
If you still don’t have firefox I suggest you hurry up and grab it and check it out for yourself what everyone is raving about.
Thank you

Every wordpress user who also uses firefox needs this one. I’ve had the problem with my link pop-up in the wordpress write or edit post interface for a while and searched around but couldn’t find an answer. Well i looked around firefox ’s settings and found a nice trick to fix this.
To stop the resizing pup-up link boz just go to Firefox click Tools –> Options –> Content –> Advanced (the one next to the javascript checkbox) –> and check the following:
Move or resize existing windows
Raise or lower window
Disable or replace context menus
Hide the status bar.
That’s it you don’t even need to restart your browser. For earlier firefox versions just do the smae to get to the javascript advanced options and check the same boxes. Hoep it’s helpfull.

Opera, the first ever browser to feature a google search box, has struck a deal with google after the fallout to include their search box on the browser again:

The deal includes that Google has to pay a fraction of it’s earnings from the google queries to opera. It seems google is happy to share revenues these days.
But if you have Opera and don’t want to share with Opera use “g” in front of your query. For example a query for “g seo news blog” will bring up the results with no sharing to Opera if you click the ads.

Google and Yahoo are apparently pushing their own customized IE7 toolbars in SERPs. ( HINT: If you don’t know what these abbreviations mean check my seo terms dictionary.) But this appears to show up only when you are using the IE:
Like this image Google is showing these results when you search “ie7″. This result takes you to a specialized IE7 google page.
Now Yahoo is also pushing their specialized IE7 toolbar. A Yahoo SERPs of IE7 will show this specialized Yahoo IE7 toolbar page.
They both look the same don’t they? This must be a Microsoft created default page. It’s nice to know that Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft at least can agree on one thing: taking advantage of each other’s users.

You guys remember firefox flicks? Well now they are going on actual TV! But sadly only in the San Francisco and Boston area, but I hope everywhere else soon. Of course firefox stuck to it’s user base and they are the ones that are paying for these by making $10 donations.
Firefox says it will target prime time cable channels like Comedy Central, ESPN, TNT,… The message well as usual: “the safest, fastest and most enjoyable way to experience the Web”.
Maybe in the future they’ll have those PC and Mac kind of commercials. That sure will be good for some laughs.
Thank You
NOTE: If you don’t have firefox yet you are missing out and you should get it now and at least try it out I promise it will be nothing like the dreaded IE7.
