Banned From Digg

You guys may remember my first post about being banned from digg, well this time it actually happened, I guess they were just getting ready to ban seo news blog. Try to submit any of my new post sand bam you’ll be hit with “that url is banned from digg”. I waited and actually wrote dig demanding an explanation and they just did. Here’s a copy of the email I just got:

Your site was reported as spam numerous times and subsequently banned from submission at digg. Please review our FAQ (digg.com/faq) for more information regarding banned URLs.

I am the owner of SEO News Blog http://www.seonewsblog.com/ and I want to know why my site was banned. I can’t submit any new stories and I don’t understand why it would get banned since I just started the site and I personally watched all diggs. I am a longtime user of digg and I really want to use my website to bring digg users new and relevant news stories. If it’s anything I did I wasn’t aware of, I apologize but I have read the faqs and I don’t think I’ve broken any rules.

Thank You

Now let me point out the fact I’ve personally submitted all 34 posts I’ve posted on here. And all of them, you can through them if you want, had nothing to do with spam. Is it maybe because I submitted them so fast since I’ve been trying to get some established user base as this website is new? I don’t know all the email says is users “numerously reported” my diggs as spam .Even though the ones I submitted all have 2 or more diggs.

This leads me to ask myself why I was banned, do I already have an enemy in my week of running this blog? Is there some kind of closed circle of blogs about SEO that no one else is included in? (aka. matt, seomoz, seoroundtable,…) Either way this just makes me mad and even more determined to have my website make it out there in the SEO world.

I’ll try emailing them one more time asking them to please review my submissions and they’ll see for themselves that it’s not spam. I’ll keep posting with updates.
Thank You
